Event Researcher, Central London

Description

The event researcher will research with key figures in the egaming industry to create in-depth agendas for a variety of summits and briefings held globally. They will also recruit speakers for a variety of sessions at the events. The role will involve building up relationships with C-Suite and senior executives in the global egaming industry and may include attendance at the events and international travel.

Reports into: Niamh Gallagher, Head of Event Content, EGR
• Conduct research calls and meetings with senior egaming professionals to create in-depth event agendas
• Create agendas for EGR’s global events
• Recruit appropriate speakers for select sessions
• Building of relationships with C-Suite and Senior executives in the global egaming industry
• Tracking of event KPIs and updating of event collateral including websites, emails, on site guides and more
• Be willing to travel to global event sites to manage the content production and speakers on-site

Requirements

Qualifications and experience – graduate level; experience in the event industry, journalism or content creation in the egaming industry desirable but not required
• Skills & competencies – excellent communication, research and written skills; ability to meet deadlines and creative thinking around agenda formats and speaker recruitment
• Personal attributes – attention to detail; willing to travel; comfortable conducting over the phone and face to face meetings with senior egaming professionals; able to assist the events team at on-site events
