Engagement Manager, London

Description

Responsible for delivering high-quality senior audience at our events, which aligns with sponsor expectations

Ensure targets are hit per event based on quantity, and quality metrics

To maintain a high conversion rate from acceptance of invitation through to attendance at event

Develops relationships with members and potential delegates

Is the point of contact for insert brand events and delivers excellent customer service

This individual is immersed in the target market, with in-depth knowledge of the events and sector

Reach out by telephone to c-suite level individuals to ensure their attendance at our events, following up with personalised invitations

Maps out the invite list to ensure the audience profile matches the event brief and owns the end to end process of getting the relevant people to the event

Work with all relevant internal stakeholders (editorial, production, marketing and sales) to build out the invite list and gain introductions

Works with the commercial team to understand sponsor expectations and requirements in terms of audience; where appropriate liaising with sponsors on guest invites / delegate preferences

Works with production and editorial to build and deepen understanding of the sector and target markets

Reports back to the event team on progress against targets and KPIs in a structured and informative way on a weekly basis

Refers to previous attendee lists to ensure repeat attendance is kept to desired levels

Provides insight and feedback on insert brand events which is passed back to production and marketing

Attends events to build rapport with members and delegates

Ensures there is a robust process in place for passing non-member registrants/attendee leads to the membership sales team for follow up/conversion. Reports on non-member conversions

Requirements

 

Has a strong track record in influencing stakeholders

Strong organisational skills• Experience in developing relationships and providing exemplary customer service

Excellent communication skills including confident telephone manner

Experience managing relationships with c-suite or senior level professionals

Current experience in b2b sales or delegate sales will also be an advantage
