Pageant Media, the leading resource of business intelligence for asset managers across the globe, is seeking bright, tenacious and ambitious journalists to join an exciting new team focused on US institutional investors.
Read by senior sales professionals across the US asset management industry, the successful recruit will be joining a growing brand and helping expand our market-leading coverage.
The role will involve covering the tactics of the biggest US asset management companies as they look to expand their institutional footprint through innovative product development, new fee arrangements and evolving sales strategies.
The successful candidates will also be expected to build up relationships with the largest US institutional investors, including public pension funds, corporate pensions, foundations and endowments, as well as the consultants influencing these decision makers.
Alongside cultivating a bulging book of helpful industry contacts, the successful candidates will be expected to supply a regular stream of thoughtful must-read articles targeted at senior institutional sales professionals working for leading asset managers.
They will also cover events and industry conferences throughout the year, providing plenty of opportunities to travel and learn the space.
·A proven ability to break exclusive news and write compelling and insightful analysis
·An understanding of the asset management industry, institutional investors or financial/business reporting experience
·Keen analytical and feature writing abilities
·Excellent networking skills and a track record of developing useful contacts and sources
·Excellent time management and organisational skills
·Write daily must-read articles for a demanding audience
·Pitch and work on well-researched and insightful analytical pieces with minimal supervision
·Regularly interview and profile public pension CIOs, and manager selection heads at endowments, foundations and other important institutional investors.
·Build and maintain a contact book of senior industry professionals
·Represent the brand at a range of events, conferences and summits
