This is an exciting new role with a careful mix of strategy and operations / execution, thinking and doing. You’ll lead the day-to-day efforts to grow demand for the membership propositions across our brands, reaching and engaging with our target customer base, and further enhancing our offering within and across our brand membership portfolio.

 

Lead and manage the overall marketing-based activities to drive corporate memberships across our products – being as strategic as hands-on; a thinker and a doer
Steer the selection, business case, and ongoing management of channels and tactics to generate demand from new potential customers for sales to act on
Own the day-to-day execution and continued development of the membership proposition across our brands, and opportunities to test and develop innovations within and across our brand portfolio – working closely with sales, engagement, tech product development, content/insight/data teams – as well as the events side of the business
Oversee the suite of tools, tactics and approaches used to segment and engage our prospective audiences in a scalable way
Stay on top of market research and our own market analysis & business strategy to prioritise our efforts to extend our reach in our target market segments
Manage the relationship with any outsource specialist marketing needs to support our efforts
Regularly evaluate & report on progress, and enable rapid testing with clearly defined outcome metrics, to continuously enhance effectiveness of the tactics used, and to consider new approaches where relevant
Lead and manage the team, identifying opportunities to support professional development opportunities

The Requirements

Ideal candidates will have a strategic mindset and a doing attitude, rolling up your sleeves to see what’s happening at the coalface and how this interacts with our strategy, with the drive and approach to execute plans quickly. A proven leader who has gained significant, hands-on experience, working in data-driven yet creative customer-centric roles in a B2B tech environment, or proven success developing skills and experiences that could transfer into this role
Experience in high growth, changeable business environments where ambitious organic & inorganic growth is the norm
A strategic thinker with excellent people, project and time management skills
A natural-born networker with high energy; a self-starter with a commercial edge and an entrepreneurial mindset
Experience working within or exposure to multi-brand / subscription / product-centric / membership proposition tech businesses with a customer-centric approach to delivery
A strong communicator and team player with technical affinity and understanding, including with CRMs, customer service, data visualisation and other related tools
A natural partner to all of sales leads/account managers, customer success, and product/content/data teams, helping to influence and respond to priorities
Experience within / appreciation of the asset management industry (desired)
Drive and passion for working in an entrepreneurial environment and being a reliable team leader and team player who loves to have fun and work with senior and junior team members alike
